AIM Therapies stands for Active, Integrated, and Meaningful Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology. The definition of AIM is to direct a course, to aspire, to achieve a level of success while directing an effort toward a goal. AIM Therapies represents staff working together, and striving to move our community toward better health.
Anyone who needs to improve or restore function as a result of surgery, illness, disease or injury may benefit from an individualized rehabilitation program. At AIM Therapies, our physical, occupational and speech-language therapists are experts in medical and surgical rehabilitation services and develop comprehensive and innovative programs designed to help you return to the life activities you enjoy.

Meet Our Staff
Occupational Therapists focus on improving your daily living activities and functional skills for home, work, and community activities.

Alex was born and raised in Coquille, OR. She graduated from Creighton University in 2024 with her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy and joined the Mercy staff. She is passionate about neuro rehab and women’s health. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her niece and nephew.

Jeremy was born in Redding, CA, and raised in Portland, OR. He graduated as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from Navarro College in 2025 with the honor of class valedictorian. He joined the Mercy hospital therapy team in 2026 after a student internship. Jeremy has a passion for acute care and pediatrics, and desires to grow professionally and mentor other students or new professionals in the future. Outside of work, he has a variety of interests including hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and going to the gym. He describes himself as a music fanatic, a dog lover, and dabbles in street photography in his spare time.

Jessica was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. She attended Grand Valley State University and completed her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University in 2024. She joined the Mercy team in 2024 and is pursuing her love of hand therapy. Her hobbies and interests include hiking, walks with her dog, and being outdoors.

Kathryn was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. She received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2020. Kat has worked in numerous settings including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, home health and outpatient. She is most passionate about hand therapy and is currently working towards becoming a certified hand therapist (CHT). She is dry needling certified, 200 hr RYT (registered yoga instructor) and is working towards IAOM COMT (certified orthopaedic manual therapist through international academy of orthopaedic medicine) . In her free time, Kat enjoys the outdoors, traveling, yoga, hiking/climbing, crafting and spending time with her dog.

Kayla was born and raised in Columbia, MO. She received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Missouri and joined the Mercy team in 2018. She has a passion for acute and outpatient therapy and is currently working toward hand therapy certification. In her leisure time, she enjoys anything outdoors including hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and camping.

Melissa was born and raised in John Day, OR. She graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 and obtained her Masters in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College, NY, in 2018. Melissa became part of the Mercy team in 2019. She is Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) certified and has a passion for leadership, serving as the Hospital Lead Therapist. She enjoys the outdoors, camping and hiking, visiting local wineries, exploring the Umpqua river, and spending time with her family and friends.

Rachel was raised in Plainfield, Indiana. She received her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 2024. Her therapy interests include acute care, hand and upper limb therapy and gerontology. She is interested in becoming certified in lymphedema and hand therapy treatment. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, crocheting, embroidery and cooking.
Physical Therapists focus on increasing your mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, endurance and walking function.

Alyssa was born and raised in Eureka, CA. She graduated from San Diego Mesa College in 2015 with an Associate of Science Degree/Physical Therapist Assitant and joined the Mercy team in 2016. She enjoys seeing a variety of geriatric patiients in the hospital setting. In her leisure time, she enjoys hunting and fishing, traveling, vacationing at Shasta Lake, or enjoying a good book.

Andrea was raised in Toronto, Canada. She graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Stills University. She has certifications in Complete Decongestive Therapy and Manual Lymph Drainage, Cancer Exercise Specialist, and is a PORi Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Specialist. She moved to Oregon and joined Mercy in 2014. She has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a love for the outdoors, traveling, cooking, painting, and learning about different wines!

Brandon is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha for his bachelor’s degree and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Brandon has experience with a variety of populations, working as a Research Assistant studying Parkinson’s Disease, and volunteering as a swim coach with Special Olympics. He’s worked as a Physical Therapist in Nebraska, Washington and Arizona prior to moving to Oregon and joining the Mercy team in 2023. Outside of work, Brandon loves to spend time with his wife, daughter, and their two dogs.

Brianne was raised on Whidbey Island, WA. She received her BA in Exercise Science from Willamette University in 2007 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2010. Brianne is a certified Sportsmetrics™ trainer and has a special interest in the prevention and treatment of knee injuries in athletes. She is married with two children and enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and skiing.

Brittany was raised in Decatur, IN. She attended Bethel College in IN and received her BA in exercise science. At Bethel she played basketball for 4 years and participated in track for 2 seasons. She obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in 2013. She joined the Mercy team in 2018 and has an interest in the treatment of orthopedics, vestibular dysfunction, Parkinson’s disease, and pelvic health disorders. She is married with 2 little boys and 2 dogs. . She enjoys the outdoors, river sports, and winter skiing,

Chelsea was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 from the Graduate Center CUNY. Chelsea joined the Mercy team in January 2025. She is a board certified specialist in orthopedic PT, she is LSVT BIG certified for Parkinson’s disease, and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) certified. She is passionate about pursuing orthopedics, sports injuries, neurological rehabilitation, and pain science. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys running, dancing, music, hiking, art, reading, science and travel as well as helping both people and animals.

David was born and raised in Seattle, WA. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of San Francisco, and moved to Denver, Colorado to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2020. He joined the Mercy team in 2021 and enjoys a mix of outpatient and acute care, vestibular, concussion, and pain neuroscience rehab. He is an avid rock climber and winter sports enthusiast, and enjoys the outdoors immensely – mountain biking, trail running and tennis. His passion is to connect with patients in order to assist with meeting their functional goals and return to a lifestyle that they enjoy!

Emiley is a Roseburg, OR native. She graduated from Whatcom Community College in 2009 with an Associate of Science Degree/Physical Therapist Assistant. She joined the Mercy team in 2017 and enjoys treating concussion and vestibular patients. She is married and has 2 children. Activities outside work include hunting, swimming, gymnastics, coaching and serving as VP for the Board of Directors at UV gymnastics. She is also pursuing a degree in healthcare management to further her career and increase her capacity for community service.

Evan was raised in Brigham City, Utah where he attended Junior College to play football, Utah State for his bachelor’s degree, and then Midwestern University in AZ for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He joined the Mercy team in 2015 and his interests include treatment of Parkinson’s, post stroke, low back and orthopedic pain management rehab. He has a passion for motivating patients toward healing by caring for themselves, making healthy lifestyle choices, and increasing self motivation to move and feel better. He is married and has 3 energetic sons. He loves hiking, hunting, bike riding, wrestling with his sons, playing at the park, and working out. He teaches and mentors children at his church and is an assistant coach for his son’s Lacrosse team.

Jeff was born and raised in Lincoln City, Oregon. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with a BS in Exercise Physiology in 2017, from the University of St. Augustine with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021, then joined the Mercy team. In his spare time he enjoys camping, hiking, writing, reading, playing music, and spending time with his four boys and wife.

Jessica was born and raised in Napa/Santa Rosa, CA. She received her BS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from Sonoma State University, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota. She joined Mercy’s team in 2016, and is currently the Lead Therapist at AIM-2. In her free time she enjoys camping, visiting the coast, and traveling.

Joey was born in western Massachusetts and raised in southern Louisiana. He comes to AIM Therapies after traveling across the country as a travel PT with his wife for the previous 9 years. He received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2011 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from the University of St. Augustine. He is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, visiting national parks, traveling internationally as well as playing soccer, disc golf, racquet and pickle ball and weight training at the local YMCA.

Julie was born and raised in Burns, Oregon. She received her BS in Exercise Science Integrated Physiology from Pacific University in 2011 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2014. She was part of the Mercy team from 2014 -2018, then returned in 2023. Julie has her Orthopedic Certification Specialty and enjoys working with a variety of populations, especially geriatric. She knows that patient involvement is key in defining goals and tries to be a listening ear to fully understand where patients are coming from and how to best serve each and every one. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, playing volleyball, and spending time with family.

Kabrissa was born and raised in Roseburg, OR. She graduated from Oregon State University in 2016 and the University of St. Augustine in 2021 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy . She became a member of the Mercy team in 2022. She enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, water sports, snow sports, traveling, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Karen was raised in Manila, Philippines graduating as an RPT from the University of Philippines, Manila in 1999. She loves children and sees both pediatric and geriatric patients. She has lived in Roseburg since 2009 with her husband Kris, also a physical therapist, and their daughter. They love traveling, reading, family time, and music.

Kevin was raised in Seattle, Washington. He received his Physical Therapy degree in 1983. His areas of expertise include manual therapy, orthopedics, spine, craniosacral and industrial rehabilitation. He is a Certified Injury Prevention Specialist and also holds a Master of Divinity degree. He is passionate about patient care and giving back to his community. In his free time, he enjoys social dancing, kayaking, canoeing, traveling, reading, hiking, and cooking and eating ethnic food with his wife.

Kris was born in the Philippines and raised in Papua New Guinea. He graduated from FEU-NRMF School of Physical Therapy in 2001. He has served in acute care and home health settings for many years, and joined the acute care team at Mercy for the second time in 2026. Kris is an experienced geriatric, medical, and surgical/orthopedic clinician. In his free time, he enjoys weight-lifting, marathons, cooking, gardening, travelling, and church activities.

Lana was born in Sacramento, CA, and raised in Sutherlin, OR. She graduated from Lane Community College in 2016 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree/Physical Therapist Assistant. She enjoys baking, gardening, horseback riding, and adventuring with her husband and 2 sweet girls.

Maria was born in Argentina. She moved to the United States as a young child and has called Oregon her home since 2000. She received her Associate’s Degree/Physical Therapist Assistant from Lane Community College in 2019. She also completed her BA degree in Latin American Studies in 2008 from the University of Oregon. Maria is fluent in Spanish. She has worked in a variety of settings and enjoys the outpatient and acute care settings the most. She is passionate about helping patients regain their strength and confidence and providing exceptional care to her community. In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, helping with youth church, trail running, hiking and baking.

Matt was raised in Cheyenne, WY. He graduated with a BS in Human Biology from Chadron State College in 2000 and Pacific University in 2003 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has worked for Mercy since 2004 and is currently the Lead Therapist at AIM. Matt specializes in vestibular, neuro movement disorders, and orthopedic therapy. He enjoys running, road biking, is a U of O Duck fan, and enjoys time at local breweries and wineries.

Matt was born in Salem, OR and raised in Boise, ID. He graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 and George Fox University in 2017 with his Doctorate of Physical Theraapy. Matt then joined the Mercy team where he specializes in orthopedic therapy and golf specific rehabilitation. He is married with 2 children. Matt enjoys camping, fishing, skiing, basketball, golf, and family activities.

Miranda is originally from Arlington, WA. She attended Washington State University for her Bachelors, Southern New Hampshire University for a Masters in Psychology, and Touro University Nevada for a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She joined the Mercy team in 2025. She is passionate about acute care, neurological, and orthopedic rehab. In her free time she enjoys camping, hiking, going on adventures with friends, gaining new experiences, and traveling.

Maribeth was born and raised in the Philippines. She graduated as an RPT from FEU:NRMF Philippines in 2000. She joined the AIM Therapies team in 2025 after serving 6 years in home health. She has a passion for treating a variety of orthopedic and geriatric patients. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and traveling with her husband.

Macy was born and raised in Portland, OR. She graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s in Kinesiology, and then pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Whitworth University in Spokane. She joined the AIM team in 2026, and values the opportunity to build meaningful connections with patients as they regain strength, confidence and independence in the hospital and outpatient settings. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog and cat, trying new restaurants, baking, arts, crafts, and reading a good book.

Melissa was raised in Mt. Airy North Carolina. She graduated with a BS in Biochemistry and Botany from North Carolina State University and a Masters in Physical Therapy from Arkansas State University in 2008. She has been with Mercy since 2009 and enjoys seeing a variety of geriatric patients in the hospital setting. She is married with one daughter and enjoys being a mom, gardening, and spending time outdoors.

Plessey was born and raised in the Philippines. She graduated as an RPT from FEU:NRMF Philippines in 2003 and joined Mercy in 2015, becoming part of the AIM family after serving a year here as a traveling therapist. She enjoys treating orthopedic and geriatric patients. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, biking, paddle boarding, and spending time with family and friends.

Roger was raised in Boise, ID and graduated from Boise State University with a BS in education and MS in exercise science. He also attended Idaho State University obtaining his Master of Science in Physical Therapy. He joined the Mercy team in 1999 and specializes in spine, orthopedics, and manual therapy. Roger is married with one daughter and enjoys golf, landscaping, and home projects.

After graduating from the University of California Davis, Ron attended the University of the Pacific where he received a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 1989. He was the director of several outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation centers in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Oregon in 2006. He specializes in spine and extremity orthopedic rehabilitation. In his spare time, Ron loves the outdoors, hiking and gardening.
Speech Therapists focus on improving your cognitive abilities, communication skills, and swallowing function.

Anna was raised in Medford, OR,. She graduated with a BS from the University of Hawaii in 2007. After spending several years abroad, she received her MS in Communication Disorders and Science from the University of Oregon in 2015. She then joined the Mercy team and currently holds certifications in neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and deep pharyngeal neuromuscular stimulation (DPNS). She specializes in muscle tension dysphagia/dysphasia, dysphagia related to head/neck cancer, and post concussion syndrome. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, wine tasting, and hikes with her husband and 2 dogs.

Nicole was raised in Salem, OR. She obtained her MS in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon in 2017 and joined the Mercy team in 2019. She is certified in LSVT LOUD for Parkinson’s disease and lymphedema treatment for head and neck cancer. In her leisure time, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading with coffee in hand, attending sporting events including Oregon Ducks football games, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.

Paige was raised in Reading, PA. She graduated with a BS in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Penn State University in 2017. After two years of working as a rehab technician in a skilled nursing facility, she went to graduate school in Utah to earn her Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2021. Outside of work, Paige enjoys reading, going on walks, hiking, paddle boarding, traveling, watching football, and spending time with friends and family.

Alex was born and raised in south east Minnesota. He went to college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and lived in Alaska before moving to Roseburg. Alex joined the Mercy team in 2022. He enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, climbing, and baking muffins with his son.

Beth was raised in Roseburg, OR. She graduated with a BA from Southern Oregon and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 1989. After 12 years at Providence St. Vincent in Portland she returned home and joined the Mercy team in 2001. She served as Director of Rehabilitation from 2014-2018, and resumed the role in 2024. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, hiking, camping, and going to concerts and community events. She also volunteers at multiple local nonprofit organizations.

Christy was raised in Roseburg, OR and attended Umpqua Community College. She has been a Mercy employee since 2000. She has three children and enjoys hiking, volleyball, golfing, and rafting.

Heather was raised in Roseburg, graduating from Roseburg High School in 1991. She has been working since 2010 at Mercy. She has two rambunctious alpacas and enjoys doing home improvement projects on her property.

Jenna was raised in Chico, CA. She has been working with Mercy since 2007. She has two children and enjoys hiking, spending time with family, friends, and her dog.

Joe was raised in Roseburg, OR. He graduated from St. Philips College in San Antonio, TX in 1986 and was employed as a Physical Therapist Assistant for the U.S. Army and stationed in Seoul, Korea for 15 months. He joined the Mercy team in 1988 and currently serves as the Administrative Therapy Supervisor. Joe enjoys time with his family, playing electric and bass guitar, painting, cycling, and hiking.

Jorge was born in Springfield, OR and raised in Roseburg. He graduated from Roseburg High School in 2023, and is on his way to enroll into college in 2026. In his spare time he enjoys nature, arts and crafts, music, cooking, reading, and drinking lots of coffee.

Mandi was born and raised in Roseburg, Oregon. She is a Roseburg High School graduate and has also received Dale Carnegie Training. Mandi joined the Mercy team in 2025. In her free time, Mandi enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, going to concerts and hiking.

Marcia was born and raised in Roseburg an graduated from Umpqua Community College in 2011. She has worked as a CNA, medical assistant, and phlebotomist, prior to joining Mercy in 2015. She is married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She spends her free time camping, boating, biking, and volunteering.

Marji was born and raised in Northern California. She graduated from the University of California at Irvine in 1991 with a BA in Social Sciences. She has served as the Office Supervisor at AIM Therapies since 1992. Marji has a passion for helping people. She is married with two grown children and enjoys gardening, traveling with her family, supporting the local wineries and playing with her Frenchie.

Mitch was born in California, and lived in Klamath Falls and Minnesota prior to moving to Roseburg. Mitch joined the Mercy team in 2022. He enjoys hiking, camping, working out, exploring, time with family, and good food and breweries.

Rachel was born and raised in Grants Pass, OR, and graduated from North Valley High School in 2012. She moved to Roseburg in 2016 and joined the Mercy team in 2019. She is currently attending Lane Community College, where she is working towards becoming a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Rachel has two daughters and a son. She enjoys doing activities with her family, camping, coast trips, and playing music.

Trisha was born and raised in Medford, OR. She graduated from North Medford High School in 2003. She began working with Mercy in 2017. She is engaged and has one son. Outside of work, her activities include softball, hunting, and spending time with family.
Our Services
Our large AIM outpatient multi-service facility serves all age groups and has a wide variety of equipment including a therapeutic pool. In addition, the AIM – 2 clinic specializes in orthopedics/post surgical care, and our therapy team also serves patients who are hospitalized.
