You offer something no one else can!
Come share your unique talents with us.
CHI Mercy Health volunteers provide services to our patients and families. We want to be sure everyone who comes through the doors of our facilities feel welcome and supported.
If you are looking for a unique opportunity to serve others, and at the same time make new friends and learn new skills, consider volunteering for CHI Mercy Health. We depend a great deal on our volunteers and their gift of time. As we grow and change, volunteers are needed to meet our changing environment.
You, as a volunteer, can enjoy a genuine sense of satisfaction from helping others and take pride in being actively involved in a meaningful service. Each year our volunteers contribute thousands of hours helping us provide high quality care to our patients and community. They bring cheerful smiles and an unhurried pleasantness to our patients, their families, friends, our physicians and staff.
We have many opportunities which include:
- Information Desks
- Volunteer Veterans
- Emergency Department
- Courtesy Escort Services
- Gift Shop Sales Associate
- Family BirthPlace
- Spiritual Care Services
- Clerical
- Casual Community Service
- Hospice
- And many other opportunities
If you are 16 years or older, and have a desire to help others, we have lots of options for you. We are always developing new programs and looking for new ways to support our customers.
If you are willing to give just four hours a week (two for volunteers still in high school), we have a position for you! We ask all of our new volunteers to give at least 100 hours (50 hours for volunteers still in high school) of service to our organization. We allow flexible scheduling for most of our volunteers, so you can plan your service around your lifestyle.
