Making broccoli kid-friendly
Including broccoli in a veggie tray is a fun way for kids to try different vegetables. Add other colorful
vegetables to the tray, such as sliced bell peppers, carrots and tomatoes, and place a bowl of veggie
dip or hummus in the middle. Other ways to introduce kids to broccoli include adding it to omelets,
pasta dishes and salads. To hide the flavor, blend a few slices of broccoli into a fruit smoothie (don’t
